What makes it so challenging, how you can train for it, and what makes it so fun.

Basketball is a sport where certain players play specific roles, you don’t have to be good at everything to contribute. You can learn to master what you believe is your role on the team and still leave a positive impact on the team. This means that no matter your age, gender, stature, or physical abilities, you can still find a way to contribute.

The beauty of basketball is also that not only can everyone play, but everyone can score. It’s not like some other sports where only a few individuals score per game. Basketball is one of those sports where anyone can score at any given moment, and multiple times. Be able to do the things you see the stars do on a professional level and be able to compete with anyone willing to challenge you. There will be bumps along the way. Other parts of your game you that needs improvement, or an opponent that shows you still need some work. But that’s what makes it fun. A new challenge emerges and you’re back to your training. Back to pushing your limits and a journey towards constant improvement.
